DANIEL'S REVIEW:
We have a new addition added to the cast of ‘Once Upon A Time’ making her debut on the fairy-tale fantasy adventure series. Ariel, ‘The Little Mermaid’, has made her debut, but wasn’t as good as an episode I thought it would be. Nonetheless, it was good, but not as great as last week was. Ariel rescues Snow White from the ocean, but wants to meet the prince that she rescued, Prince Eric. The flashbacks was good, not great, but good. I do have some problems with the ending of the flashback, but don’t want to spoil what happens in the end, but love how the writers didn’t follow the movie ‘The Little Mermaid’, but changed it a bit, which was interesting, especially some little references popping up here and there from the popular animated film. Back to Neverland, the show has some problems. The only problem is Rumplestiltskin’s scenes, but everything else was great, especially the echo cave which brought character development and even acknowledging other characters wishes about their future and even complicated issues with other characters, mainly the love triangle between Emma, Neal and Captain Hook. Overall, not as great as last week’s episode, but Ariel is a nice new addition to the show, which is great she is coming back for future episodes, especially the last scene which takes the series to new interesting ways to continue the Neverland quest. The episode offered emotional scenes, which were really upsetting for characters Snow White, Ariel, Prince Charming and Emma.
