DANIEL'S REVIEW:
Episode 2. Part two. Again, this show is proving if you get straight to the point, and not offering much gags or jokes that the anime version of ‘Pokémon’ make, proves to be a winning formula as I am thoroughly enjoying this new miniseries ‘Pokémon Origins’, which I now don’t want as a miniseries as I want to see more on Red’s journey of completing the pokedex. This episode had a solid story, after Team Rocket takes over Pokémon tower, a ghost is present inside the tower, terrifying guests and tourists. Meanwhile a baby Cubone tragically loses its mother because of Team Rocket. The baby Cubone’s story is very emotional and Blue is becoming more than a stuck up Pokémon trainer as he does sort of care about Red and makes us see that he does have a heart. This episode is another winning episode from this new miniseries. Animation was great, story strong while emotional and offered a little bit of humour and some appearances from the original ‘Pokémon’ characters such as Misty.
Daniel's Score: 10/10
