We have now know more about Disney's next princess film 'Moana' and the release is sooner than we originally thought. The film will be a comedy-adventure about the high seas by directors Ron Clements and John Musker, directors of acclaimed Disney classics such as 'The Little Mermaid', 'Aladdin' and 'The Princess and the Frog'. According to Variety, the film "revolves around a spirited teenager on an impossible mission to fulfill her ancestors’ quest". Director John Musker states: “Moana is indomitable, passionate and a dreamer with a unique connection to the ocean itself. She’s the kind of character we all root for, and we can’t wait to introduce her to audiences.” (via Variety). | |
'Moana' is set for a late 2016 release. My bet, November, given the recent releases of 'Frozen', 'Wreck-It Ralph' and 'Tangled', which also had November release dates.
