'The Mortal Instruments' heading to the small screen? Seems to be the case, as instead of the sequel promised, it looks like Constantin is focusing the book series as a TV series now. Constantin executive board chairman, Martin Moszkowicz, states about the future of 'The Mortal Instruments', quote supplied from Collider: “Constantin has a lot of feature film brands and we are moving them into television. For instance, we own the rights to the book series ‘The Mortal Instruments,’ and we just hired a showrunner in Los Angeles, and our offices in Los Angeles and Canada are starting production next year on at least two or three international shows.” (via Collider) | |
Also there's also talks about a possible 'Resident Evil' TV series.
While I didn't completely hate 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones', I do think there's some potential to this TV series.
