DANIEL'S REVIEW:
‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ goes back a few steps, because tonight’s episode was nowhere as great as last week’s was, although, it was good, just not great. The only let down was the main storyline of Fitz and Agent Ward’s mission. It just wasn’t interesting and the duo just didn’t had enough action and chemistry. There was a laugh here and there, but nothing remotely interesting. However, this episode was saved by Skye’s and Simmons’s storyline of trying to help Fitz and Ward. Especially Simmons, there was a huge laugh out loud moment of trying to access S.H.I.E.L.D.’s files. It was hysterical. I’m starting to like Simmons, Jemma, even more as each episode debuts every week. She has become consistent every week to become an interesting and important character to the S.H.I.E.L.D. team. I'm still hoping for Simitz. Make it happen Marvel. Skye and her trying to find out by her parents was a bit emotional and Agent Coulson can’t even access his own file was great as well for a future episode. I wonder why Nick Fury didn’t give Coulson access to his own file. Still, loving ‘The Avengers’ references. Overall, it could have been better, but had fun with Skye and Jemma’s scenes as they were emotional and hilarious. Let’s hope next week’s ‘Thor: The Dark World’ crossover episode can improve from tonight’s episode.
Daniel's Score: 7/10
