DANIEL'S REVIEW:
The crossover tie-in episode, following the events after ‘Thor: The Dark World’. The episode was improved from last week’s episode that it offered jokes, action-packed sequences and a very emotional side of Agent Ward. A couple of weeks ago we found out Ward had a brother, but tonight we learned the tragedy of his brother which was a very powerful scene and was edited excellently with some of the action scenes such as the punching bag and the climatic fight scene at the end. Agent Ward’s vulnerability was the highlight of the episode. As for a tie-in after ‘Thor 2’, it wasn’t much, as the opening scenes was about as much as a tie in for the sequel, the rest played into ‘Thor’ but wasn’t a direct crossover episode I was expecting from the advertising and publicity this episode had. Overall, the show still impresses me and still loving it. Marvel knows how to balance humour and action, while developing its characters with emotional backstories that make you instantly care about these characters.
Daniel's Score: 8/10
